Langlands cycle path reopens

14 Oct 2013

Langlands cycle path in Govan has been refurbished and the reopening will be celebrated on Saturday 26 October.

Major upgrade works have been carried out  as part of Central Govan action plan to create an appealing walking and cycle route that improves accessibility to and from the town centre.

Elderpark Housing Association in collaboration with CGAP, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Housing Association and Landtrust is delighted to host the official reopening of the newly refurbished Langlands Cycle Path on Saturday 26 October 2013 from 12 noon until 3pm.

Join the celebration at the cycle path and follow the timeline from Golspie Street up to the Elderpark Library where hot and cold refreshments will be provided.

Bring your cycle along and participate in the adult and kids bike rides around Elder Park.  The Bike Doctor will be on hand to carry out health checks and any repairs your cycle may require.

Come along and join in the fun; with face painting for the little ones and an amazing street dance display from the Elderpark Crew Dance Group there will be lots of activities to enjoy.
