developed to support the nearby business park and residential
developments as well as passing trade on this important tourist
route.
The 60 bed Dumbarton Premier Inn is a key element
in this roadside services development, providing accommodation in a
key location between Glasgow and Loch Lomond.
Alongside the hotel the Brewers' Fayre restaurant,
Malt and Myre, has opened, providing restaurant services for the
hotel, as well as travellers and people who live and work
nearby.
Between the Premier Inn and the Brewers' Fayre
restaurant, 50 jobs will be created.
A drive through Costa Coffee is now completed and
open on the site, creating a further 20 jobs. It is the first drive
through Costa in Scotland and only the fourth in the UK. The 1,850
sq ft outlet, which was built by contractors on behalf of the
Walker Group and handed over for fit out by Costa at the end of
October, features a striking curved building offering seating both
indoors and outside for around 100 people.
Negotiations are continuing to attract further leading brand
names through agents Cushman & Wakefield.
