Description:

The Tesco Extra store is planned for a site near the Thornwood roundabout at the west end of Glasgow Harbour.

A 130-acre site will be transformed into a major new supermarket.

The store, located between Partick and Whiteinch will be 100,000 square feet and could create several hundred new jobs.

Planning approved 2011.
