Doors Open Days

15 and 16 September 2012

13 Sep 2012

Celebrate Glasgow's build heritage by taking part in Doors Open Days this weekend.

This free event is Glasgow's way of celebrating its buildings, its streets, its parks, its architecture, its history  and its people - in short, itself!  Held on the third weekend in September each year, there are walks, tours, talks, seminars, and exhibitions in addition to more than 100 fabulous buildings being open to visitors.

Celebrate the 23rd year of Glasgow Doors Open Day by visiting some of Glasgow's most exciting buildings, along with organising a week full of talks, walks & events. From Monday 10th September until Friday 14th September talks, events & seminars will be taking place. During the weekend of Saturday 15th September & Sunday 16th September you can see over 100 buildings, 41 walks, tours & more talks & events all completely FREE! We have even found 24 NEW venues including the recently refurbished Maryhill Burgh Halls!
