Strake and kabe: the future of traditional boatbuilding and rowing

Galgael are hosting Strake and Kabe: the future of traditional boatbuilding, at the Pearce Institute on Saturday 12 November 2011 from 11am - 3pm

This day event explores the recent revival in traditional boatbuilding and rowing around Scotland.

Various speakers are involved, including Alec Jordan.

Community projects up and down the country have been key to the recent revival, not least the Scottish Coastal Rowing Project.

The event takes place at the Pearce Institute Govan on Saturday 12 November 2011.
