Clydebank is in business

A number of new developments in the Clydebank area, many of them featured on our project pages, means that Clydebank is rapidly becoming a popular business location, with ideal facilities for start-up and developing businesses.

"Clydebank now offers new office developments on the River Clyde next to Clydebank College or the Golden Jubilee Hospital, and within twenty minutes of Glasgow city centre and the airport", says Claire Donaldson, Asset Manager for Clydebank Re-built, the town's award-winning urban regeneration company.

Queens Quay is the new business address next to Clydebank College and already two of four office pavilions -  Titan Enterprise and Aurora House - have been completed.

Titan Enterprise is tailored for developing and start-up firms with highly specified modern office suites available for rent from 270 sq feet to almost 1000 sq feet.  Additionally, there are conference rooms and spacious break out areas overlooking the Clyde.

So far, 19 companies are based at Titan Enterprise, ranging from specialist engineering and industry suppliers to IT and hi-tech firms. Latest occupier is New Acoustics Ltd, design experts in building acoustics, who have moved in with their six staff from Duntocher. Colin Frier, Director, said: 'Titan Enterprise is a great location for us. The quality of the accommodation and the flexible lease arrangements attracted us to Queens Quay.  It is ideal for our developing business, for our visitors and has enabled us to stay in  Clydebank."

Aurora House, just opened, extends over four floors and larger business suites are available from 1,600 to 20,000 sq ft.

Clyde Gate, at the west end of the town and next to the NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital, is the latest business site being developed by Clydebank Re-built.   Change House, the first business pavilion, opened in April.  The ground floor is home to a private children's nursery, run by child care provider, Nursery Times.  On the upper floors there are over 7,000 sq feet of office space which can be divided into self contained units for sale or for let.
