IFSD launches new website

29 Feb 2008

The new International Financial Services District (IFSD) website was launched recently at a special business networking meeting  staged by the IFSD Partnership. Held at the SAS Radisson Hotel in the heart of the financial district, the event attracted around 150 members of the local financial community.

Glasgow's International Financial Services District  is well on course to deliver its target of attracting 20,000 jobs to the area and creating two million square feet of grade "A" office accommodation by 2011.

Presentations at the website launch were delivered by Stuart Patrick, operations director, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and Steve Inch, director of regeneration services, Glasgow City Council. This included the formal launch and first public unveiling of the brand new IFSD web site which now becomes the central core of the global communications effort for the District.

The new web site contains many exciting features including maps that show which properties are available, in planning or completed and provides links through to the developers and agents, to support their marketing efforts.

The website promotes Glasgow as a " world-class business location in a city long established as a major business and financial services centre."
