Digital Media Quarter promotion goes to BD-NTWK

18 Jun 2008

BD-NTWK has been appointed by Scottish Enterprise to promote the launch of the new Digital Media Quarter in Glasgow. Six agencies, including BD-NTWK, were part of the pitch process.

The creative brief includes a brochure, direct mail and website design and a launch event taking place in September 2008. The aim is to create buzz and excitement around the creation and development of the Digital Media Quarter. It will be targeted at local and international digital business companies engaged in digital design or production, media production, telecommunications or software engineering.

Carolyn Laing, Client Services Director, at BD-NTWK said "The digital media quarter will be a great asset for Scotland and its digital media industry so we are delighted to be involved in delivering an integrated creative campaign.

The Digital Media Quarter is located within Glasgow's Pacific Quay area, next to the Science Centre and the new BBC Scotland headquarters.

Initial development involves the construction of two buildings, The Medius and The Hub, which have been specifically designed to cater for the digital and media industries with high quality specification. The Glasgow School of Art's Digital Design Studios, leading research into 3D visualisation and interaction, will be found at The Hub.

The website will launch in August 2008.
