Celebrating Doors Open Days 2012
In times past, the Clyde was known across the globe for the
quality of its shipbuilding and heavy engineering. Now, as much of
the industrialised riverbanks are reclaimed for other purposes, a
distinctive, futuristic style defines the area that was previously
known more for its dockyards and factories.
As our contribution to Doors Open Days 2012 we have selected
some of the most significant new architecture of the new Clyde
Waterfront - the buildings that have been transforming the local
skyline over the last 15 years.
This image gallery illustrates our feature article, The Clyde's 21st
Century Renaissance.
