Scotland’s property market is set to buck the trend with a multi-million pound investment.
The cash injection is being triggered by a proposed land sale
that will lead to more than 200 homes being built at Lomondgate,
Dumbarton, near the outdoor set for BBC Scotland soap River
City.
The Walker Group has sealed a deal for the conditional sale of 20
acres of land for residential development next to the drama
production studio.
The purchase price runs into millions of pounds.
It is a major boost to the Lomondgate site, which is being
transformed into a business and residential hub as part of a
£100million masterplan by Strathleven Regeneration Company and
Livingston-based Walker Group.
