Eco transport challenge

This project develops learner skills in combining knowledge from different curricular areas whilst providing a theme for their learning. By using the Clyde waterfront transportation requirements as the focus, learners research their local area and make reasoned decisions about what appeals to them as individuals and as a team.

• Leaners subject knowledge is put into a real life context 
• Skill base and understanding of subject knowledge are reinforced through an interesting and challenging topic 
• Develop enterprising skills (communication, planning, organisation, time management, researching, sourcing, contributing,

• Confidence of working together with peer group is enhanced through applying subject knowledge independently and by presenting their findings to year group with the support of a team 
• Pupils take responsibility for their learning through making decisions about their choice of research and design
