Dumbarton Riverside Parish Church

This is the third or fourth church to be built on this site, a plain but handsome neo-classical design by John Brash ( c1775-1848), a local man who came from New Kilpatrick and began his architectural practice in Glasgow around 1800.

He designed other churches at Strathblane and Tollcross.

However, he is best known for his work on the building of Blythswood Square, Glasgow.
